Charlotte Haslund-Christensen has degrees from the International Center of Photography in New York City and Fatamorgana – Danish School of Art Photography. Her artistic practice focuses on social and political questions that operate in the intersection between anthropology, documentary and social interaction.
She has exhibited both in Denmark and elsewhere, including New York, Paris, Pingyao, Helsinki, Warsaw and Casablanca. Her solo exhibitions include WHO’S NEXT? (2013), Natives (2008), No Airport to Travel from (2006), JUMP (2002) and Inner City (1998). Her works are represented in various collections, including Hasselblad Foundation, the Danish Arts Council, the National Museum of Photography and Brandts Museum of Photographic Art.
She has created a site-specific artwork in Nørre Alslev in connection with the Danish Arts Council in-house artist programme (2010 Guldborgsund). She teaches and lectures both in Denmark and internationally.
